About Me
I am an experienced psychotherapist on the Upper West Side of New York and also am licensed in Maryland.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been providing therapy for more than 20 years. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Washington University in St. Louis and continued my training in psychodynamic and family therapy—gaining a post-masters certification in both ideologies.
My experience includes treating individuals, couples and families with a wide range of issues and varying degrees of difficulties. I have been described as kind, accessible, direct and real. I will help you to capitalize on your strengths and will work with you to identify strategies and tools that address your unique struggles and life dilemmas. Starting or being in therapy is a brave thing to do and can feel overwhelming, so I try to bring humor, understanding and lightness into sessions when possible.
